The background is textured with black and grey marks. It highlights the big circle in the middle of the canvas. The darkness of universe comes over human soul: hope, symbolically represented by the ring, is the only way to safety. Vertical lines become mystical rails for a new travel.

The artwork is inspired by Kepler-452 b, which is the latest planet discovered by NASA on the 23th of July 2015, throughout the “Earth Similarity Index” research. The minimal painting is made up of two vertical lines, whose colors evoke the central circle.
